Madrid, 24th September 2007. The VI International Exhibition of the Manual Therapies finished successfully its sixth edition with strong turnout of. Some 35.000 people entered the Municipal Palace of Congress in Madrid, in the Campo de las Naciones station, from Friday 21st to Sunday 23rd of September. The most representative companies of this sector were presented in this Congress and they have benefited from the national fair most relevant of the Manual Therapies. These companies have showed their massage and natural cosmetics products, music, clothing made of natural fabrics, publications and innovated equipment for different techniques of relaxation and desintoxication (like Ecosauna). of this bienal Fair, in Madrid, has been the opportunity of receiving
free wellcoming massage, in massage bed or On-Site seats, applied with
hands or feet. Amongst others the Chavitti, an ancient indian procedure where they use their feet to give the massage with the help of Ayurvedic oils. Ángela Sanz Gimeno, spanish pioneer of Ayurveda was in charge of giving the conference; while Sisupalan Kuttapan gave alive demonstration of this fantastic massage, consisiting of the massage of the chakras with ayurvedic products. The advantage being you can exercise more pressure you’re your feet than you can with your hands. The Rose Therapy also has been another new technique that has been presented in the Congress. Joan Cano (Director of C.V. Primary Essence) and Mercé Blanqué, the Technical Director of the company) were responsible for explaining the properties of this therapy.
